Uptown Suites of Stuart

I've lived in one of the second story apartments about 35 years ago. That was when Ann boze owned the building. She was a sweetheart. It's good to see that it's still being used. To answer the question from the owner who e top of the stairs replied to my comments... I can't recollect the unit number but as you would enter the building, climb the stairs. At the top of the stairs you would turn away from Ann Boze apartment, walk straight down the hall to the end. You then could turn to your left and go to a family apartment but my apartment was at the end of the hall. It was a corner apartment with views of the courthouse and the ally with the mail building close by. I would love to have the opportunity to see the building and reminis over old memories.

This place is centrally located to everything in Stuart! But that’s only one of the up sides. The real treat is in the room itself! Beautifully decorated, comfortable, charming and super cozy accommodations! The historical building embodies the essence of this quaint little mountain town. So glad I got an opportunity to stay at the Uptown Suites!

We stayed in suite 1 and it was absolutely lovely. Cute kitchen, comfy sitting room with tv and an absolute master of a kong bed complete with nice fluffy pillows. You can tell it's designed for a unique and comfortable guest experience.

Hands down the best place to stay for a traveler in Stuart, Virginia. The owner is pleasant and exceedingly accommodating. Lodging is well appointed, modern, and stylish, tucked into a historic building. Well worth a stay for a night or a week if you are going to be in the beautiful area.

The host with the most! They’ve thought of everything you’ll need for a nice little getaway. The renovations have been tastefully done to preserve the original feel, with all of the modern beauty of today. These upgrades are what you would expect to see in an upscale hotel. The town is quiet and friendly. If you are looking to just sneak away and unwind, come here. Thank you for the warm welcome and the wonderful hospitality!

I have no idea what "Simon Slave" was talking about, or even what language he was using. We stayed there a year ago, and we're going back this year as well. Very pleasant. This place has a great feel to it, starting with the staff. There are stairs to get to where the rooms are, so if that's a problem you should be aware. But the suite we were in was roomy and great. I've traveled all over the world, I've stayed in places that may have been "classier," but few that were cleaner or more comfortable.

We actually did not stay here because there were no rooms available. However. Leslie was very helpful in recommending where we should go. she also gave us some maps and brochures of the blue ridge parkway because this is what we were going to do the next day. thank you Leslie for your brief hospitality. We Will remember you the next time we are traveling through the area. The blue ridge parkway was beautiful. Thank you.

Beautiful renovation of a historic building on a wonderful downtown street of the enchanting Virginia mountains. Very clean, quiet, and the hostess was quite charming and hospitable. Yoga center just around the corner and a few restaurants nearby as well, although not a lot open on Sundays, so if you're looking for breakfast, shop at the grocery the night before. There is a fridge and mini kitchen in the room.
